a idéia qdo comecei esse trabalho era de dar servico p a minha sogra (hoje com 92 anos) que estava aqui em casa a passeio. ela alinhavava os hexagonos p mim. gostou e nao queria mais parar de fazer, a ponto de ter uma quantidade que me "forcou" a montar um projeto de verdade. aí passou a ser meu projetinho "to go" durante várias viagens de carro, aviao e até trem! sao mais de 3 anos trabalhando nela! sao várias maozinhas caprichosas me ajudando como também doando restinhos de pano! e tem ainda outras várias iniciativas que me ajudaram muito; tipo a querida hedy, que me mandou o tecido de fundo. a bárbara que levou a colcha p o brasil (brasilia) p ser quiltada e me a trouxe de volta pronta! a querida maria luiza, uma das quilteiras do cerrado, quem organizou para que a colcha fosse quiltada e finalmente a galeana quem fez um excelente trabalho de quilt! o tecido do forro, manta e design, tudo ficou ao encargo delas e o resultado nao poderia ter sido melhor!!! a TODAS voces que me ajudaram eu agradeco de coracao!!! the idea inicially was to give my mother in law (92 years old) some work to do during her visit here. she liked it so much and couldn't stop making hexagons, which "forced" me to actually start a real project. so that was my project "to go"during many trips, by car, plane and train! it's been over 3 years working on it! many, many gentle and master other hands helping me as well as donating scraps! many other iniciatives of great value, such as dear hedy sending me the back fabric. bárbara by taking the top to brazil (brasilia) to be finished and bringing it back done. and dear maria luiza, one of the wonderful "quilteiras do cerrado" who organized this work to be finished, and finally galeana who made an excellent work on the quilt! the whole finalizing process was decided by these fabulous artists and result couldn't be any better! ALL of you who took part on this project i want to thank you from the bottom of my heart!! Die Idee entstand zu Anfang dadurch, dass ich meiner Schwiegermutter (92) ein kleines Hobby geben wollte, wenn sie bei uns zu Besuch ist. Es hat ihr soviel Spaß gemacht, dass sie gar nicht mehr aufhören konnte, die Hexagons zu machen, und so musste ich mir ein richtiges Projekt dazu überlegen. Ich arbeitete daran, auf vielen Reisen im Auto, Flugzeug oder Zug. Insgesamt 3 Jahre habe ich dafür gebraucht. viele, viele fleißige Hände haben mir dabei geholfen, auch durch Rest Spenden. Auch andere Hilfen so wie von Hedy, die mir den Rückstoff sendete. Barbara die den Top mit nach Brasilien (Brasília) nahm, damit es vervollständigt wird, und letztendlich auch wieder fertig mitbrachte. Maria Luiza (eine von "quilteiras do cerrado"), welche es vermittelte und organisierte dass es zuende gebracht wird, und Galeana die es schließlich wunderschön "quilted". Ohne diese wunderbaren Künstlerinnen wäre das Ergebnis nicht so toll geworden. Dank aus tiefsten Herzen an ALLE die an diesem Projekt mitgeholfen haben!

estou meio cansada de fazer blocos, resolvi fazer algo novo. como meu velho ferrinho de viagem que fica do lado da minha máquina de costura quebrou, resolvi comprar um novo, desta vez tem até vapor. fiz entao uma bolsinha p carregá-lo. o molde foi a alice quem me deu e otecidinho foi a marisa!! i'm somehow tired of making blocks! since my old travel iron which i keep beside my sweing machine broke down, i bought this new one, and decided to make a carry bag for it! ich habe irgenwie genug vom blocks nähen. da mein altes reisebügeleisen das neben meiner nähmaschine immer bleibt kaputt gegangen ist, ich habe mir ein neues gekauft, diesmal sogar mit dampf! ich habe für das kleine bügeleisen eine tragetasche gemacht. schnitt und stoff sind die geschenke von meinen brasilianischen freundinnen.
